Important tips for drawings and writing.

You could use one of your child's existing masterpieces, or ask them to draw something especially. Whichever you choose, make sure you follow the tips below:
Simple line drawings work best in enamel. Avoid anything too intricate, shading and colouring in.
Just use 1 colour - preferably black. Pen or heavy pencil are fine but make sure it is quite dark.
Your can draw it any size, but the final enamelled piece will measure either 10cm x 10cm or 10cm x 6cm, depending on your choice.
Remember that larger images will be reduced to fit and fiddly detail will become hard to see.
Follow all the above tips for writing. Make sure it is in dark pen/pencil and not too small
Examples of drawings and writing
Drawings should not be coloured in.
These images are clear with dark simple lines.
They are drawn within a 10cm x 6cm rectangle.
Simple images like this work best.
Too much writing. Design is too complicated.
Although this image is more complicated it is clear with dark lines. Because it was drawn in a 10cmx10cm square it doesn't need to be reduced.
Nothing more complicated than this please!
